IT’S ALL ONE

There is so much pressure to view things as divided, as a dichotomy, as us v. them. World events and the media only compound this tendency. On one level things appear in total chaos: conflict over ancient lands, empires trying to re-form, senseless violence against people who appear totally innocent, airplanes shot out of the sky. Things can look pretty scary and uncertain from this vantage point. And that is certainly one way to view things.

But there is another way to look at all the external events swirling around us, and that way is to see the connectedness under all the events that seem random and without reason.

What if there was a purpose to everything, except that we are not always aware of what that purpose is?

What if these events labeled as “horrific” were actually part of a cleansing process to bring us to a new level of consciousness?

What if these events were a man made “virtual reality” and amounted to no more than an illusion?

What if what we commonly call “dying” is nothing more than dropping the body along with a shift in consciousness?

What if there was absolutely nothing to be afraid of, except for fear?

What if absolutely nothing happens without a reason, and without an effect?

What if everything and everybody is connected, no matter who and where you are, by the same spirit?

What if we were all one?
