The Aftermath
So many shocking events happening in the world around you and me. What is there to make from all this? Is the world imploding? Is mother nature fed up with us?
These are legitimate questions to consider in the wake of natural disasters and man-made traumas, such as mass shootings.
I think the real question has to be how much consideration to give to events that you and I cannot control, and are not in our immediate energy sphere. While these tragedies play out on the news cycle, everyday life continues for you and me too, which means that you have to deal with providing for yourself, demonstrating compassion and love with those you meet in daily life, and fulfilling your personal obligations.
So while it is important to have compassion for anyone caught up in an unpleasant or uncomfortable situation, compassion is all that you really have to give, unless you can physically help those affected, or choose to give financial support.
None of these events occurring means that your world is ending, or that your life is not or cannot be sweet.
Look at these events in perspective: This has been a time(the last few years) when the forces of fear have been gunning for control over your psyche- and it is not so surprising that world events are coming back bleak for some people. Just think about the amount of hate and fear that has been pumped into the universe in those last two years! And unfortunately, many people have been brainwashed by these efforts.
There is no easy solution to any of these occurrences: the best we can do is observe these events, help when we can, and practice love and compassion in our personal lives. Also, stay aware, and fight the forces of evil and fear when they are at your door.
