Human Relations 2017

What can I say? 2017 taught me perhaps too much about human relations.

The range of emotions and behavior showed to me was enormous, and I mean ENORMOUS.

It seems that with the penchant for transparency amongst some circles of society, nothing needs to be hidden, and things that were previously hidden (perhaps just five years ago) are now displayed for all to see, and even proudly.

2017 has seen the end of shame in public discourse, and by that I mean that people demonstrated how truly shameless they were. At the other end of the spectrum, incredible acts of human kindness were also on display. It seems that almost every human emotion was magnified, amped up, and presented like a present for us all to witness.

Humans are truly evolving, no doubt; and I can’t help but hope that the direction that most people are going is up.
