BATTLE OF BELIEFS
There’s a battle going on now, and it’s a battle of beliefs. Actually, this battle has been waging for as long as mankind has existed. This battle is being waged on the airwaves, through the internet, and through every available means of communication. It is in essence a battle for your heart, and especially your mind.
And this battle is far more important than the battles being waged on land with actual armies, or even drones. Because without a belief system to support it, there would be no war, there would be no armies fighting, there would be no automatic hatred of groups of people. So what you believe in every area of your life controls all your actions, because without the thought, idea, or belief that precedes and supports your action, there would be no action at all.
If this is the case, and all evidence points to it being true, than it is incumbent upon each of us to seriously consider what we believe in, and how those beliefs take root.
Here are some things to consider:
1. Recognize and accept that all of us are conditioned to believe that certain things are true.
2. Many beliefs are imposed upon us by forces/groups/individuals attempting to control us.
3. Just because everybody believes that something is true, does not make it so.
4. Every individual has the right to decide what beliefs to embrace, but before you can do so, you need to clear your being of ingrained and conditioned thoughts/beliefs.
5. Clearing your being is a process that requires constant, sincere effort.
6. That effort is rewarded by being able to consciously choose beliefs that resonate with you, and you alone.
7. Your choice on what to believe is so important, because the collective belief system of every community and nation is built upon individual beliefs.
8. When you appreciate this, you see how your individual belief system either supports or prevents various actions, injustices, and even wars fought by the nation, the larger group.
9. Just look at the headline news today, and you can see the importance of belief systems: how the important battle raging is not really with armies, but the battle for the mind.
10. So take your time, and really consider: what do you believe?
