Love is all there is
This is an often quoted saying, and on a certain level it is true. When all is said and done, what remains is love. And remember, all of us came to earth as the product of some kind of love; something to bear in mind when we interact with each and every human being. When I walk down the street, it sometimes dawns on me that everyone I see is precious to somebody.
I have come to believe that love is the most powerful form of energy in the universe. It gets tricky because love exists in many forms, and often the love you get is mixed in with less desirable emotions.
But how do you bring love into everyday life? How do you integrate that love into your behavior to let it shine brightly?
Some interesting issues arise when you try and do this: can you show authentic love to someone who clearly means you harm? Can and should you love your enemy, or even try? According to some sages (Jesus among them), loving your enemy is advisable because love has a higher vibrational energy than hate; and by loving your enemy you prevent bad things from happening to you.
Experimenting with this concept should make this clear to you, and I am not suggesting that we should not defend ourselves in the moment from any imminent threat; I’m just suggesting that we might want to tweak things to incorporate more love.
Lots to think about my friends…..
