OBSERVE
It’s easy to get caught up in all the events of the world and the personal drama swirling around you. It can feel overwhelming at times, as if so many things and people are out of control. How can you feel peace in a world like that?
The answer is surprisingly simple: observe- just observe.
What do I mean by this call to arms…haha?
The idea of observing what’s around does in no way mean you are not part of the world, or the actionable events around you. It just means that you have a new perspective on it. You no longer view those events as threatening or dark, you begin to see them in a whole different light. And that different light is all about the power of watching/observing, rather than getting pulled into the apparent chaos that these events represent.
When you can observe these events without getting pulled in (a handy trick that may require some effort), you achieve a measure of detachment that is the buffer you need. That detachment is where you find freedom, peace, and all the other good feelings that would elude you if you got pulled in (to the madness).
By allowing everything and everyone in the world to be exactly as they are, without deluding yourself about them, you create peace in your life. Part of the magic in just observing is that you recognize the brilliance of the universe in creating what exists, and that you don’t have to judge or fix too much, because it is perfect just the way that it is.
So start observing without judgment, and begin to feel the incredible peace and well being that this brings to you.
